Mibex Software is proud to be part of the Pledge 1% movement and donates 1% of the yearly employee worktime for hands-on volunteering. This year with our mission to clean up the streets, alleys, paths, and forests nearby our hood.

We think that we should care about our environment and treat it as good as possible because we all live on this planet and should respect the privilege to use its resources.

Although Zurich has a good infrastructure and hard-working people who daily clean up the streets, there is still waste beneath the streets, in bushes, paths and other places (we can’t even imagine how and why people throw things away, cigarettes (a lot), bottles, car rims etc.).

This month was the first event of our volunteering afternoons. Even the snow couldn’t stop our team. On the way to the Uetliberg, the ‘Hausberg’ of Zurich, we started to clean up our way up to the mountain beginning with the streets in the city. The clean up continued in the forest.

All employees, including office dog Diego, are excited about the volunteering opportunity and are looking forward to the next event in May.
