Linking files from Bitbucket Data Center to Confluence Cloud wasn't possible so far unless you open your firewall completely, which wasn’t an option for security. Our approach uses a Fixed IP feature to facilitate this integration, allowing technical documentation, source code, and more to be directly accessible in Confluence Cloud. We enhance this integration's security by not exposing Bitbucket to external threats. Instead, using a fixed IP means customers need only to open their firewall to incoming traffic from this specific IP address tied to our app, ensuring a secure and controlled access point.
